I have been swept up in the incredibly inspiring worlds of Craftgawker and Pinterest, and I find it so exciting that there is this super meticulous way of organizing every single thing you find on the internet into categories or boards as Pinterest calls them. Recently I re-found this great tutorial for a cute and easy little necklace pendant shaped like a birds nest full of eggs. I was so excited since I’d seen the tutorial B.P. (Before Pinterest) and couldn’t wait go give it a try. I’m so happy I did because it only took a few minutes and made a beautiful piece of jewelry wonderful for casual wear or really precious family symbolization.
The original Tutorial over at Love Stitched is broken up into easy to follow steps. I used copper wire to give the piece a little personal touch but a birds nest in any color would be beautiful. Just make sure the holes in your beads are bigger than the gauge of your wire.
