My daughter SweetPea was born with a full head of hair, so much hair in fact that it entered the world a good 30 minutes before the rest of her. Since day one it’s been beautiful, dark and curly.
But a few months after she was born when the squirming and the sweating really kicked in, so did the tangled rats nest on the back of her head. I tried combing it after washing and brushing it when it was dry but nothing worked and everything just made it frizzier and frizzier until I gave up for a few days and she grew the beginnings of little baby dread locks.
I had to find a solution (preferable an organic one). I scoured the internet for a few days here and there and finally found a product I really wanted to try. It was Nature’s Baby Organics Lavender and Chamomile Conditioner made with more than 70% Organic Ingredients, Hypoalergenic, Cruelty Free and Vegan which are some of the most important things to me when it comes to the products I put on my baby’s skin.
When my Nature’s Baby Organics Conditioner arrived I was so excited to try it out and used it that very same evening when I gave SweetPea her bath. After getting her all soaped up and clean I popped open the cap on my new bottle of Lavender and Chamomile Conditioner and just soaked up the calm and relaxing smell and was so happy with how delicate and non-overpowering it was.
I put a nickel size amount in the palm of my hand and went to work on the back of SweetPea’s head; immediately the tangles started to come undone and after a minute or two of running my fingers through her hair it was completely knot free! I had to use two more knuckle sized dollops of Nature’s Baby Organics Conditioner to feel like I’d properly coated all of her hair, but once I had enough worked in I feel like I got great results. Though with the amount I had to use I’ll burn through the 8 fl oz bottle I have pretty quickly.
After getting a nice coat on her hair I left it in for 2 minutes before rinsing it out. Then I pulled my SweetPea out of the tub and dried her off. Her hair was so silky and I didn’t need to comb or brush it at all because it was already tangle free. When her hair dried it was shiny, curly and less prone to tangles.
After a few uses most of the damage done to her hair from squirming around on it was repaired and if I use Nature’s Baby Organics Conditioner every other day her hair stays beautiful and smooth.
Putting her down to sleep for the night with the smell of Lavender and Chamomile in her hair eased and calmed her wonderfully and she drifted off peacefully and with much less fuss than after a bath without Nature’s Baby Organics Lavender and Chamomile Conditioner.
